Push That Reaction: Plate - Guided Workshop (2-days)

Push and play with complex glass reactions in this popular class! Students will learn how to achieve a range of natural reactions using Bullseye glass- copper, sulfur, and lead-bearing colors. Students will layer up their reactive designs using colorful sheet glass, frit, and stringer and learn to "push" them down in the kiln to create dramatic effects. On day two we will cut the designs apart, rearrange and layer them up again with clear sheet glass to create dimension and depth. Each finished project will be a 7" plate.
